Eating for Energy
I make every day a time to look at the choices I make when preparing meals or eating on the go. When meeting clients for listings or showing homes, it's hard not to be "on the go".
When on the go I bring apple slices, peanut butter to go cups, dates, nuts and/or protein bars to be able to sustain energy on the run and have something that isn't junk food.
If you are going to be on the road, bring something from home if you can to help you get by until you can make time for a healthy meal.
Here are some healthy items, I bring "on the go"
Apple Slices and Peanut Butter
Dates and Nuts (almonds and walnuts are my favorites)
Slices cucumbers and hummus
Protein bars
Bottled water - Don't Forget to Stay Hydrated
Hard Boiled Eggs - (Peel ahead of time and put in a baggie)
Knowing when to grab a healthy snack or meal on the run, can make a difference in your energy during the day!
